This year we were delighted to have been be asked to sponsor the Cawood Beer Festival. The village is known for its events, particularly the annual August Bank Holiday Cawood Craft Festival.
Due to popular demand the beer festival is back and now in it's 3rd year. It is organised by the Friends of Cawood School to help raise funds for the primary school and this year they are planning to put the funds towards building an outdoor classroom. Last year the festival helped to raise £3000 for the school.
A good local primary school can make a vast difference to the vibrancy of a local community and its culture making an area attractive to move to. As estate agents Preston Baker understand how important local facilities are, so it is with great pleasure that we are sponsoring the beer festival this year to help support the local school and community of Cawood.
The beer festival runs from 12 noon and is being held at the Old Boy's School in the village. If you're thirsty this Saturday why not clear your diary and pop along to the festival for some quality food, fun and sample a few featured ales in aid of a good cause. Preston Baker is running this competition in support of the Cawood Beer Festival which starts 12 noon this Saturday 26th Sept. Competition will close 26th September 2015.
