Preston Baker celebrates winning ‘Best Innovation in Estate Agency 2023’ Award

Preston Baker is celebrating after winning the coveted ‘Best Innovation in Estate Agency 2023’ Award at this week’s EA Masters event in London – the UK’s biggest estate agency leadership conference, exhibition and awards.

Preston Baker is leading the way within the estate agency industry in adopting technology to support and improve its sales processes. It has invested heavily in creating tangible applications for AI within the estate agency environment, and over the last 12 months this work has dramatically reduced costs and increased sales to instructions ratio by over 96%. Work is now underway on developing a CRM that other estate agents can use.

“AI is going to transform estate agency,” said Ian Preston, Preston Baker Co-founder, who was one of the industry leaders presenting at the conference which was themed ‘Thriving in Uncertainty’ and hosted by television presenter Rachel Riley MBE and former broadcaster Dermot Monaghan.

He added: “We have been working on evolving the Preston Baker CRM for years and AI opens up some fantastic opportunities for adding value to the customer journey and also saves money in a time when the industry is under real pressure in terms of costs.”

Alex Rhodes, the Preston Baker Chief Technology Officer who has developed the Preston Baker CRM for four years, said: “Technology within the estate agency industry has generally not kept up with the rest of the world. We're trying to catch up. Making the technology platform we've built available to other estate agents will accelerate innovation within estate agency. I'm hoping this can help to move the whole industry forward."

Preston Baker was also named a winner for sales in the Best Estate Agent Guide Awards which form part of the EA Masters event, held at Battersea Evolution on Tuesday, November 7^th. This is awarded for marketing, service and sales.
