Applause and cheers from Preston Baker staff
There was rapturous applause and cheers at Preston Baker this afternoon when staff were told they can all have a late start on Monday morning following the England v Italy Euro 2020 final on Sunday night.
“It’s England’s first appearance at a major international final since 1966 and everyone at Preston Baker has been working incredibly hard during lockdown, so we think it only right to give everyone a late start on Monday morning,” said Preston Baker’s Head of Talent Zoe Johnson.
“The phones will still be manned as usual as all calls are being diverted to our mobiles, but I guess some people may be a little hoarse after shouting at their television screens on Sunday night! Like the rest of the country, we are willing England to victory.”
