Here at Preston Baker New Homes we are proud to work with developers across Yorkshire and this has just seen us complete four launch events simultaneously at developments throughout the county.
We have just held launch events at Portholme, Selby; a development of Legal & General Modular Homes, at Marina View development at Stainforth, near Doncaster, at Breck View; a development just at Mattersey Thorpe, and at Rockinghorse Avenue development at Pickhill.

It was the Phase 2 launch of new homes at Portholme, Selby, a new development featuring Legal & General Modular Homes. This development creates a brand new neighbourhood at the heart of this thriving Yorkshire market town.
Modular homes is an exciting way of building houses. Everything needed for the Portholme homes at Selby is manufactured at the Legal & General Modular Homes factory in Yorkshire, and is assembled on site.
Building in this modern, modular way brings improved quality control utilising techniques that have been pioneered in the aviation and automotive industries. This results in better homes, built quicker and more efficiently.
Modular homes built today are precision-constructed, digitally-modelled developments, built to the highest standard, and are solid and robust.
This is a more sustainable way of building houses, with the environmental impact of each property lower as they use less resources and waste during the build stage.
It was also Phase 2 launch at Marina View, a Tricolor Homes’ development of 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes situated on the Stainforth and Keadby Canal, which connects to the River Don.
The canal-side location gives beautiful views for the site and for the many properties on the canal waterfront.
The luxury homes are built with brick, stone and rendered finish, which gives a sleek, modern façade.
There are a variety of local shops within walking distance in Stainforth and the development benefits from a local canal-side pub, The New Inn.
We had the launch of Breck View, an exciting development of homes situated in the quaint village of Mattersey Thorpe.
This stunning new development is by Emerald Developments. It is set in a tranquil location 30 miles east of Sheffield and close to Mattersey. It also has the further benefit of great transport options, with the A1 and M1 within easy reach.
The development features a superb collection of 17 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, including some bungalows, and borders open countryside.
We also had the launch of a delightful new homes development in the picturesque village of Pickhill.
Rockinghorse Avenue development features 15 new homes offering an idyllic mix of contemporary home comfort and luxurious modern living.
This new development of two, three and four-bedroom homes, including bungalows, is situated between Thirsk and Ripon.
An Ahuru Homes development, Rockinghorse Avenue homes are reminiscent in style to the red brick vicarage from 19th Century Yorkshire.
Pickhill is a lovely location and offers a range of facilities, including a good Ofsted-rated Church of England primary school, children’s playground, village green, church, and soon to be re-opened public house and restaurant.
